Palisade Tribune History 50 years ago: Cigar Store Sold to Denver Couple

Palisade Tribune Nov. 9, 1973 p. 1

Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Anderson have purchased Larry’s Cigar Store from Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lundgren and took possession on Nov. 1. The Anderson’s are former residents of Denver. Anderson was owner and operator of a service station there, and Mrs. Anderson is a stewardess with United Airlines.

Anderson is in the process of winding up his business in Denver and Marilyn is on leave from United Airlines.

They will change the name of the business to “The Orchard Bar.”

According to Mrs. Anderson, there will probably be no changes now, but they expect to do some remodeling in the future.

The Andersons have a boy, Kenrick, 16 months.
